Duke Regional Hospital is seeking to fill their Program Manager position for the Caring for Each Other Program.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Occastionally needing to flex hours for evenings and Weekend shifts.
General Description of the Job Class
Provide direct support, coordination of volunteers, and administrative oversight to CEO (Caring for Each Other) program at the local entity, and partner with other CEO Program Managers across DUHS.
Duties and Responsibilities of this Level.
Provide proactive and responsive individual peer support to team members, including listening, validation, self-care, and referrals (e.g., PAS).
Facilitate group support with teams/staff after distressing events.
Facilitate conversations with colleagues around specific topics (to be organized centrally).
Review SRS submissions for emotional stress impacts (e.g., workplace violence) and offer proactive individual and/or group support with impacted team/individual.
Manage volunteers who provide emotional support rounding and other Caring for Each Other Services.
Coordinate with CIRP to assist in service provision after clinical and campus crises.
Attend staff and clinical team meetings as appropriate.
Work across DUHS with the CEO Program Managers to coordinate services, ensure consistent data gathering, provide updates, etc. (generally twice monthly meetings)
Attend the DUHS weekly wellbeing huddle, CEO huddle, and CEO/PAS huddle.
Support development and coordination of CEO volunteers within the entity.
Work closely with PAS on provisions of care opportunities.
Collaborate with local entity (e.g., chaplain services) in developing/coordinating employee well-being initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education:
Work requires a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or a related field.
Experience:
Work requires the ability to plan and administer programs and direct program activities within a specific functional area, generally acquired through four years of related experience.
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification:
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors or Licensed Clinical Social Worker
