Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team of board-certified critical care physicians and residents at Morristown Medical Center. This is an outstanding position for career growth as the ideal candidate will be given plenty of hands-on opportunities to further develop current skills in a highly collegial and multidisciplinary team environment.
The primary role of the Nurse Practitioner is to be involved with daily rounding in the Step Down Unit, including appropriate triage of patients in an out of the unit and covering the Rapid Response Team calls throughout the building. Additional responsibilities include clinical management and treatment of patients within the department. The ideal candidate will bring a positive and caring attitude, excellent communication skills, clinical expertise, and willingness to assist with program development, community outreach, and data collection/quality improvement.

Master's degree required
NP License in NJ required
ACLS and BLS required
Minimum of 2-3 years of Critical Care experience as an RN is preferred
Previous NP Critical Care or step-down unit experience is highly preferred
Must have excellent communication and computer skills
Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
