Perform a wide variety of clerical and secretarial duties for the practice. Assist in managing patients during their treatment process. Perform other administrative duties as required by the manager and physicians.
Compile, type, edit and distribute any correspondence/ information according to general directions from the manager and physicians.
Assist in the intake process from initial contact through the followâ��up requirements. This may involve processing sensitive and confidential information.
Monitor and document patientâ��s treatment plan and results. Delivery efficient, patient-centered care to maximize patient and family satisfaction.
Serve as an advocate for the patient in all areas of the program (hospital, physical therapy, finance, clinical, etc.). Remembering your appreciation of cultural differences and understandings.
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This may include; phone calls, emails, mail communications, and scheduling meetings (in person and via ZOOM or other means).
Coordinate and complete any special projects as directed by the physician or managers.
Provide administrative support including ordering and maintaining office supplies.
Coordinate with ancillary services (home health, hotels, and medical device companies, etc.)
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with administrative software, such as Microsoft Office, including Excel
Administrative writing and editing skills; understanding of social media platforms
Effective communication, creative thinking, resourceful, and problem solving skills
Organized and professional management of patients information
Self-directed and able to multitask
Professional appearance and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's or Associateâ��s degree
